The In-between Time

Saying goodbye is tough.   When we have folks that we love and cherish in our lives we pour ourselves into those people in ways that make us vulnerable.  Thus doing things like saying good-bye to fly to the other side of the world seem difficult at best!  But….   There’s a purpose.

New relationships are waiting to go to that next level, a deeper level.  And this trip is so much more than just a drop in/check it out mission.    It is in these days we will walk along side the leaders of the village and work on the structure and a level of purpose that will bring food to the hungry, clothes to the naked, and a home for those who have none.

Relationships that are built around the work of the kingdom are awaiting a big ‘ol “hello!”.  So the tears have changed to some special places in our souls for those of you we know are here with us in spirit and prayer!  we set our faces for Uganda and aim to seek and discern what it is God would have us do to share his radical love and hope with children and people who are in need!  We covet your prayers as they do indeed cover us with amazing peace!

In just over two hours the next leg begins to Uganda, we spend the night in Entebbe and then embark on the eight hour bus ride cross country.  As you worship, we will be preparing for the journey.   It is at that time we TRULY covet your prayers!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you for bring such An amazing community that love all God’s people, not only home but all over the world!!!!!!  We all send our love!     Til next time, Andrea
